8th May 1967
Following the conclusion of her dates in Batley and Greasbrough, Jayne’s English tour was now over. She departed from her hotel (presumably Holdsworth House) and drove to Heathrow Airport accompanied by her son Antonio, Alan Wells, and her dogs. From here she would fly to Germany to appear at an event at Ramstein Air Force Base for US troops and the German public.
It appears that over the course of her time in England she had acquired four Chihuahua dogs –full details of these dogs have now been added in a comment from April VeVea at the bottom of this page.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper there had been 300 members of the public who had asked for one Jayne’s dogs. Accordingly Jayne had chosen to give away one her dogs named Suki to a 64 year-old lady named Dorothy North who lived in Hounslow, Middlesex.

In a final twist to her eventful tour Jayne missed her plane. It is unclear whether she caught the next plane or waited a while longer at the airport, but either way Jayne departed England for the last time at some point on 8th of May 1967. Tragically less than two months later she was dead.

Momsicle and Popsicle were returned to Jayne when she was departing England on the 8th. Emerald and Precious Jewel were with her as well as the little black and white one (I know at least one source claims that one is Suki, but there was also a fourth fawn chihuahua that Jayne had in her possession as well at some point during the trip).
When Jayne passed away, Harmar wrote asking for payment for both bitches Emerald and Precious Jewel. She was told both dogs had passed away, and Dorothy and Cow had survived; however, this is incorrect as Cow was distinct looking, and the pictures and footage we see of 3 out of 4 dogs show all of them were fawn. Cow may have been in the car with Jayne and perished (I do not know if there are pictures of the fourth dog and frankly I don’t want to see it), but it appears Jayne had taken Emerald, Precious Jewel, Momsicle and Popsicle with her. Popsicle appears to have survived (the footage is grainy, but there is a dog with a darker muzzle put into a police cruiser) and the confirmable deceased dog is definitely one of Harmar’s bitches, but it’s impossible to say which.
